INSECTA
must be applied by a licensed Pest Control Operator in accordance with all label instructions.
INSECTA
is applied to manhole walls of ENCLOSED SANITARY SEWER SYSTEMS ONLY via airless paint spray equipment using a 6 – 6 ½ foot want equipped with a 4-head spray nozzle.
INSECTA
is sprayed on sewer manhole walls by moving the spray wand up and down up to a depth of 8 feet (regardless of the actual manhole depth) applying the EPA-approved amount of product to the manhole walls. If the manhole is less than 8-feet deep, treat the full depth of the manhole.
INSECTA is not applied
to the top 10-12 inches of the manhole walls, eliminating any risk of drift or overspray on to the concrete or road surfaces near the manhole.
INSECTA
label prohibits application within 36 hours of predicted rain to avoid any product run-off.

TYPICAL CITY INSECTA APPLICATION CYCLE
Cities contracting with a licensed Pest Control Operator typically provide a 4-year contract to have all their sewer manholes sprayed in a standardized, 2-year rotation:
Year 1:
Half of the contracted sewer manholes are sprayed the first year.
Year 2:
Half of the contracted sewer manholes are sprayed the first year.
Year 3:
Sewer manholes sprayed in Year 1 are sprayed in the same order as Year 1.
Year 4:
Sewer manholes sprayed in Year 2 are sprayed in the same order as Year 2.
This standardized 2-year rotation allows all treated sewer manholes to be under the 2-year manufacturer warranty for the duration of the contract.
Cities may request a slightly tinted paint color for years 3 and 4, providing an easy check to ensure all sewer manholes have been properly treated.
